About

The Actors Repertory Company runs on a simple idea: an actor-run theatre that brings the very best of the international stage to Toronto. We choose the work. We produce the shows. And the result is exciting work that has rarely, if ever, been seen in our city before.

We are a group of actors of various backgrounds, age groups and experience.  Since 1999, we have produced a diverse and acclaimed collection of shows: Creditors (1999), So Many Words (2000), The Sea (2003), Family Stories: Belgrade (2005), Other Places (2006), 36 Views (2007), and The City (2010). Over its history, ARC has received six Dora nominations, and two Dora Awards.

ARC is also committed to mentorship and outreach. We work with young artists and youth across Toronto to promote theatre, encourage careers in the arts, and drive engagement with the cultural community.
